Scott Jennings – CEO & Founder Cheba Hut Franchising

Scott Jennings is the founder of the Cheba Hut Toasted Subs. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska.  Growing up in Nebraska, with the long winters,  no sun,  and not much to do lead him to the valley of the sun. He says the idea for the Cheba Hut has always been in the back of his mind. "Growing up in Nebraska we always idealized the beach scene" said Jennings. He moved to Tempe, Arizona after high school to attend ASU. He graduated with a communication degree and opened the first Cheba Hut next to ASU on January 20th 1998.  "It's actually pretty, simple I combined the 3 things I liked most and opened up shop". He opened up his first shop on a few credit cards and loans from friends and family. Scott is a franchisee, as well as, CEO and President of Cheba Hut Franchising Inc. Although, Jennings said he would like to see a Cheba Hut on every college campus and free thinking city around the nation...he vowed to keep each store a little different just like the people who own them.
